I first fell in love with nature-based education when I started volunteering weekly at a nature center in high school.  Although I set out to become a vet in college, I just kept coming back to environmental education work, and it really stuck.  Add in to the mix a Preschool Director as a mother and farmer for a grandfather and you get someone who loves teaching young children and early educators about farm- and nature-based learning.  In other words, you get the Fox Z Naturalist.
